SolarPlusGreen LLC is probably the only supplier of the advanced evacuated tube solar heating systems in North Carolina and surrounding states. We have a large warehouse near I240 in Asheville with full stock of evacuated tube solar heating systems to meet the rapidly expanding need of this more innovative, efficient, and affordable solar technology (other solar companies in the area have to go through middlemen to buy solar thermal systems and thus the unavoidable higher costs, delays, difficulties in getting replacement parts and warranty etc). Our combination of new technology and new business practices aims to rapidly enable homeowners and businesses to use solar thermal to save huge amount of money and to do their part for a better environment for themselves and their children and grandchildren. The founder of the company, Kevin Wei, started to install and use domestic solar hot water and swimming pool solar heater himself 15 years ago when he was a Research Scientist with University of California at San Diego. He holds a NC General Contractor/Home Builder License, National Association of Realtors' Green Designation, and plays a very important role in promoting solar heating systems in the region. Since solar water heaters are already required for all new homes in some countries and in the state of Hawaii, he believes that solar water heaters will be required soon in other states, like California, North Carolina, etc. and in counties like Buncombe, which has about 60% of the Green Home Builders of the entire state of North Carolina (100 counties).
